Biography

Born thirty seven summers ago in the seaside city of Limsa Lominsa; he was given the name Belian . Since the day he was born the world could tell his boy was destined for mischief. At a young age Belian was left to fend for himself on the streets of Limsa Lominsa; he learned how to steal, cheat and survive on his wits. His parents could not be bothered to even try and raise their son. His father was a sailor and always out to sea and his mother took to the oldest profession. Weather Belian was a runaway or abandoned is really anyone's guess.The young boy grew into a young man as they always tend to do; by now Belian was an experienced Thief. It was something he was ashamed to admit that he enjoyed. he could not read or write but he could steal your gil purse without you ever knowing he was there. Growing up on the shore he became fascinated with the sea. He would go down to the docks and see the big ships and watch them as they came and went. This created a yearning in him. Maybe there was something better out there for him then eating rats, dirty and alone. Life doesn't just happen to you, you have to make it happen; That's exactly what Belian did. his master plan was to hide in a barrel and stowaway on some ship. The plan worked but what the twelve summer old boy didn't think of was hunger. his stomach growled and that led him to try and find food which led him to almost instantly be caught by the crew.
To Belian's shock and amazement he happened to be stowing away on a Pirate ship. Figuring anyone with the stones to sneak aboard a pirate ship had some value, Belian was made a cabin boy and his life on the high seas began.His new crew, his new family took a liking to the blond boy who was always eager to please. What started as a life of scrubbing chamber pots and doing all of the disgusting things the rest of the crew didn't want to do slowly morphed into a life of high adventure. They taught him how to read and write, how to think critically and turn that street smart wit of his into a finely honed weapon. They also trained his body to fight. all the chores had made him lean and muscular despite still being a bit on the scrawny side. A scrappy thing, Belian exemplifies it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.Over the summers he spent with the pirates he learned to refined those skills he learned long ago on the streets of Limsa. Now a very skilled Thief and cutthroat Belian could use his silver tongue to con you out of your gil, or simply slit your throat and take it.All good things come to an end as they must and years of pirating and plundering was coming to a halt. The Admiral of Limsa Lominsa in an effort to improve her cities reputation officially outlawed piracy. The tradition that built the very city was now being outlawed. So there was nothing they could do but disband the crew. Each of them going their separate ways. Belian found himself all alone again after over a decade of sailing with his family.Spy, Thief, con man, information broker or simple assassin. Belian is now a seasoned friend among Eorzea's underworld.

Belian met this pretty Miqo'te at the Drowning Wench. He saved her from a run in with ruffians. Since then she has always been by his side and easily captured his heart. A kind heart and very shy. She keeps the scruffy Pirate in him in check, always reminding him that hes a better man then he thinks he is.
